On March 26, the CAOA CHANGAN Brazil plant—jointly established by Changan Automobile and Brazil’s CAOA Group—officially commenced production. As Changan’s premium intelligent electric vehicle brand, Avatr will leverage this facility along with CAOA’s local sales channels and service network to deepen its localized operations in the Latin American market. At the launch event, three Avatr models—the Avatr 11, 06, and 07—were showcased together, highlighting the brand’s strengths in design, intelligence, and luxury. Since the Avatr 11 debuted in São Paulo in November 2025, it has gained widespread recognition in the local premium segment within just four months. Since embarking on its global expansion in 2024, Avatr has entered more than 40 countries, including Thailand, the UAE, and Singapore, amassing over 210,000 users worldwide. Looking ahead, the brand plans to expand into more than 80 countries by 2030 and establish over 700 sales and service outlets globally, accelerating its journey toward becoming a leading global premium intelligent EV brand.
