Mercedes-Benz is secretly testing a high-performance AMG GLC EQ all-electric SUV, which is poised to become one of the brand's most powerful electric models. Built on an all-new platform, the vehicle features a more aggressive design, including a sporty front bumper, black alloy wheels, and large brake calipers. It also debuts an adjustable active rear spoiler—making its first appearance on a Mercedes EV—to enhance high-speed stability. Powering the SUV are expected to be three YASA axial-flux motors, delivering a combined output of over 900 horsepower and enabling a 0–96 km/h acceleration time of under 3 seconds. The battery pack is anticipated to use prismatic cells and support 400 kW fast charging—surpassing the standard version’s 330 kW capability. The model is slated to make its global debut at the Paris Motor Show in October before going on sale shortly thereafter.
