Segway-Ninebot recently announced a collaboration with POP MART’s popular IP “Xiao Tian Dou” (Little Sweetie), launching their first co-branded electric scooter in April. The new model will incorporate Xiao Tian Dou’s adorable elements into its exterior design, detailing, and accessories, emphasizing “emotional value” and “cultural identity” to appeal primarily to young female consumers aged 18–34. Data shows that nearly 70% of Xiao Tian Dou’s fanbase falls within this age group. This partnership marks an important step for Segway-Ninebot in exploring emotionally resonant product design beyond smart functionality. In January this year, the company’s cumulative domestic shipments of smart two-wheeled electric scooters surpassed 10 million units. Segway-Ninebot stated it will continue pursuing cross-industry collaborations to make its products not only “smarter” but also “warmer.”
