Lu Fang, Chairman of VOYAH, recently confirmed that the upcoming VOYAH Taishan X8—scheduled for launch in the first half of 2026—will be equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR and three solid-state LiDAR units. It will also debut Huawei’s latest-generation cockpit platform and L3-level intelligent driving hardware. Positioned as a “courtyard-class large five-seater SUV,” the vehicle measures 5,200 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,814 mm in height, offering the segment’s largest cabin space at 6.1 square meters and a 120 kWh battery pack. The second-row seats feature the world’s only dual zero-gravity seats, which recline up to 145°, slide up to 200 mm, and include a 32-point mechanical kneading massage system covering from the neck down to the calves. VOYAH claims the new model will deliver “ultimate safety” and “best-in-class chassis performance.”
