Deepal Auto recently achieved a significant milestone—the official rollout of its one-millionth electric drive unit. Since production began in June 2022, the company has reached this mass-production target in less than four years. Simultaneously, Deepal unveiled its next-generation "Yuanli Ultra-Integrated Electric Drive" (EDH3C-AA), which boasts an impressive operating efficiency of 94.13% and a power density of 4.25 kW/kg. Compared to the previous generation, it is 20% lighter, 30% more compact, and delivers a 1.5% improvement in efficiency. The new drive unit has undergone rigorous real-world testing covering 512,000 kilometers and multiple extreme-environment validations, achieving a failure rate 30% lower than the industry average. As a pioneer of Changan Automobile’s "Shangri-La Plan," Deepal continues to strengthen its technological moat in electrification through full-chain in-house R&D capabilities, accelerating the high-quality global expansion of China’s new energy vehicles.
