On March 28, the fifth-generation Wuling Hongguang MINIEV officially launched, offering four variants priced between RMB 44,800 and RMB 54,800. With trade-in subsidies, prices start as low as RMB 42,800. The new model is available in both two-door and four-door versions, each featuring a four-seat layout and a maximum trunk capacity of 838 liters. Exterior styling adopts the "Sweet Cube" design language, combining soft curves with a "smiling face" front fascia. It comes in three retro-inspired color options: Refreshing Green, Fluffy White, and Adorable Gray. Inside, the cabin features a "Caramel Cream" two-tone color scheme, equipped with a 10.1-inch central touchscreen, an electronic shift-by-wire system, and a multifunction steering wheel. The infotainment system supports OTA updates and smartphone connectivity including Apple CarPlay.
