At the Q4 earnings call on March 27, Pony.ai CEO Peng Jun revealed that the company plans to expand its Robotaxi fleet to over 3,000 vehicles by the end of 2026 and increase its autonomous ride-hailing service revenue to more than triple its 2025 level. Leveraging funds raised from its Hong Kong listing and the commencement of mass production of its seventh-generation Toyota bZ4X-based Robotaxi, Pony.ai is accelerating its commercialization efforts. The company has already partnered with Toyota to secure 1,000 units of the seventh-generation bZ4X Robotaxi, jointly advancing the deployment of a fleet at the thousand-vehicle scale. Toyota has thus become the first partner in Pony.ai’s “co-built fleet” model.
