VOYAH recently unveiled its new flagship SUV—the Taishan X8—which is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2026. The vehicle is the world’s first SUV equipped with an 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR, complemented by three solid-state LiDAR units and Huawei’s latest-generation intelligent cockpit system. As a spacious five-seater, it features standard zero-gravity second-row seats with dual-side comfort functions, offering a recline angle of up to 145°, 200mm of fore-aft sliding range, and 32-point kneading massage functionality. Exterior styling adopts the “Kun-Peng Spreading Wings” design language, with dimensions measuring 5,200 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,814 mm in height. Powertrain options include both PHEV and EV variants: the PHEV version features a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system with a maximum pure-electric range of 310 km, while the EV variant comes with the segment’s largest 120 kWh battery pack and supports 800V high-voltage fast charging across all trims.
