BYD today unveiled the official interior images of the second-generation Denza D9 for the first time and announced that pre-sales will commence on March 29. The new model features a three-row layout, with the front row equipped with an instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, and a passenger-exclusive display. The second row includes overhead screens, foldable tray tables, and armrest-mounted control panels, offering both advanced technology and enhanced comfort. Powered by BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, the vehicle supports ultra-fast charging—achieving a usable charge in just 5 minutes and a full charge in 9 minutes—with significantly improved charging efficiency even in low-temperature conditions. Range performance is impressive: the plug-in hybrid variant delivers over 400 km of pure electric range, while the all-electric version reaches up to 800 km. Exterior updates include a redesigned front grille that maintains the brand’s signature diamond-cut styling while adding greater three-dimensionality. The vehicle has already been listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 404th batch of announcements and is expected to officially launch in the first half of this year.
