Chevrolet has officially unveiled the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport supercar, powered by an all-new 6.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine—dubbed the LS6—producing a maximum output of 535 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Positioned between the Stingray and the Z06 in the lineup, the Grand Sport is expected to start at around $90,000. Alongside it, Chevrolet introduced the high-performance Grand Sport X (GSX), which features a hybrid powertrain combining the LS6 V8 with a front-axle electric motor generating 186 horsepower, for a combined system output of 721 horsepower—surpassing the Z06. The GSX comes standard with Magnetic Ride Control suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, and all-season tires, with an optional performance package offering upgraded tires and enhanced aerodynamic components. Inside, the cabin features exclusive design elements such as Santorini Blue upholstery with red contrast stitching. Moving forward, the “X” suffix will denote high-performance Corvette models equipped with an electronic all-wheel-drive system.
