Dongfeng Nissan’s all-new mid-to-large new energy SUV, the NX8, will officially launch on April 8. Pre-sales began on March 20, accompanied by five limited-time purchase benefits. The NX8 features the brand’s latest design language, highlighted by a closed-off front fascia, a full-width “Star Ring” OLED taillight (comprising 2,064 individual OLED units), and a floating roof, all emphasizing its tech-forward aesthetic. It measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,917 mm. Inside, the cabin is equipped with dual connected displays, a head-up display (HUD), and wireless charging. A LiDAR system enables advanced driver-assistance features, including highway and urban Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) as well as intelligent parking. Powertrain options include both extended-range electric (EREV) and battery-electric (BEV) variants. The EREV version pairs a 1.5T engine with an electric motor, delivering up to 214 km of pure electric range under the WLTC cycle. The BEV variant offers a maximum motor output of 340 horsepower and a CLTC-rated range of up to 630 km.
