At the 2026 National Conference on New Quality Productive Forces and Intelligent Industry Development, the Chinese Association of Automation, together with Central South University and 10 other universities and research institutes, officially released two series of group standards—“Collaborative Intelligent Connected Vehicles Based on Advanced Mobile Communications” and “Intelligent Driving on Complex Roads”—comprising a total of 12 standards. These standards focus on the integration trend of "vehicle-road-cloud synergy" and large AI models, translating outcomes from China’s National Key R&D Program into practical technical specifications. They fill critical gaps in standardization for collaborative driving testing and intelligent decision-making on complex roads, accelerating the implementation and adoption of key common technologies.
