In a popular TikTok video, automotive influencer Brenner warned that placing the front license plate on the dashboard—though seemingly convenient—poses a hidden danger. He explained that during a sudden collision or hard braking, the metal plate can become airborne due to inertia and potentially impale the driver’s neck, causing severe or even fatal injuries. While some vehicle owners temporarily place the plate inside the car to avoid drilling holes and damaging the bodywork, this “temporary fix” often becomes a prolonged habit.
