On March 30, Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, announced that the urban Navigation Cruise Assist (NCA) feature of ADS Pro is officially being rolled out today. The initial models to support this function include the Aito New M7 Pro+, Chery Jetour Traveller C-DM, Changan’s all-new Deepal S07, and Wuling Huajing S. The system leverages Huawei’s self-developed LiDAR-camera fusion solution, Limera (LiDAR + Camera), which employs a “single-lens dual-eye” architecture to achieve physical-level fusion of 2D images and 3D point cloud data. Its beam-splitting prism technology precisely separates LiDAR and visible light signals. Combined with front-fusion algorithms, this setup allows images to provide rich texture while point clouds deliver depth information—mutually verifying each other to enhance perception accuracy. Huawei stated that Limera has already been integrated into the enhanced version of ADS Pro, offering superior small-object detection and active safety capabilities compared to industry-standard 120-line LiDAR solutions.
