At a press conference held by the State Council Information Office, the Ministry of Commerce stated that this year it will intensify efforts to implement a special campaign to boost consumption and drive sustained consumption growth. Key policy measures include optimizing trade-in programs for consumer goods—focusing on green and smart products—to support the development of new-quality productive forces; deepening reforms in automobile distribution to facilitate efficient circulation of second-hand vehicles and expand auto consumption across the entire supply chain. Additionally, the ministry will launch initiatives to improve the quality of service consumption and benefit the public, enhance the quality of service supply, and support eligible regions in developing leisure consumption formats such as cruise ships, yachts, and recreational vehicle (RV) camping, while actively expanding emerging sectors like low-altitude airspace consumption.
