Leapmotor has announced that its new full-size SUV, the D19, will officially launch on April 16. Built on the D platform, the D19 offers both all-electric and extended-range powertrain options. The extended-range version delivers a combined output of 400 kW, features an 80.3 kWh battery, and achieves a pure electric CLTC range of 500 km. The all-electric variant boasts a combined output of 540 kW, is equipped with a 115 kWh battery, and offers a CLTC range of up to 720 km. All models come standard with a triple-motor vector control system, enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in the 3-second range. They also feature a dual-chamber closed-loop air suspension and CDC dampers. Externally, the D19 adopts Leapmotor’s signature design language, highlighted by million-pixel DLP headlights, 21-inch wheels, and Michelin acoustic tires. Inside, it offers zero-gravity seats, dual foldable tray tables, a three-screen interactive setup, and premium ambient lighting. In terms of intelligence, the D19 debuts Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual 8797 chips (delivering 1,280 TOPS), supporting integrated cabin-and-driving domain control and VLA-assisted driving capabilities. For enhanced safety, the body incorporates 2 GPa ultra-high-strength steel at 16 key locations.
