On March 31, Xiaomi Auto officially addressed user concerns, clearly stating that all variants of the new-generation SU7 now come standard with high-performance solar-control and heat-insulating glass, eliminating the need for most users to apply additional window film. The windshield features triple-layer silver-coated laminated glass, blocking 99.5% of ultraviolet (UV) rays and 97.6% of infrared (IR) radiation. The standard and Pro trims use a dual-layer silver-coated panoramic roof, achieving UV and IR rejection rates of 99.9% and 99.04%, respectively. The Max trim goes further, equipped with a dual-zone electrochromic (EC) dimming panoramic roof offering up to 99.85% visible light blockage and 99.9% rejection rates for both UV and IR radiation. Additionally, all four door windows are standard with laminated glass, blocking 99.9% of UV rays, while the front and rear side windows achieve IR rejection rates of 77.23% and 80.09%, respectively.
