The National New Energy Vehicle Power Battery Traceability Information Platform was officially launched recently, marking a new phase of digitalized, end-to-end management for power battery recycling and utilization in China. Developed with technical support from the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC), the platform aims to enable comprehensive tracking and management of power batteries throughout their entire lifecycle—from production and usage to recycling and reuse. At the launch event, Gong Jinfeng, Deputy General Manager of CATARC, stated that this initiative will significantly enhance regulatory oversight across the full lifecycle of power batteries and support the green, sustainable development of China's new energy vehicle industry.
