On March 30, 2026, Nexteer Automotive officially opened and commenced production at its new manufacturing facility in Rayong, Thailand. This marks the company’s first production base in Thailand, spanning 5,000 square meters and initially dedicated to manufacturing column-assist electric power steering (EPS) systems known for their precise and efficient steering performance. The new plant will better address the growing demand in Southeast Asia for advanced motion control technologies, enhance localized service capabilities, and reinforce Nexteer’s position as a core supplier to leading Chinese automakers. Nexteer stated that this move represents a critical step in optimizing its global manufacturing footprint and deepening its strategic presence in Southeast Asia. Currently, Nexteer operates 27 manufacturing facilities, five technology centers, and 13 customer service centers worldwide, continuously accelerating the delivery of mobility solutions to create value for customers globally.
