VOYAH has officially unveiled its new large five-seater SUV, the Taishan X8. The vehicle debuts with Huawei’s dual 15.6-inch 2K integrated panoramic display, featuring a resolution of 2560×1440, peak brightness of 1000 nits, and support for independent operation and one-touch content transfer. This display will also be featured in AITO’s first MPV, the Luxeed V9, and is expected to become a signature design element across the VOYAH lineup. Measuring over 5.2 meters in length with a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters, the Taishan X8 offers rear passengers the world’s only “Dual Enjoy” zero-gravity seats, which recline up to 145°, slide up to 200 mm, and include a 32-point massage system—featuring the world’s first kneading-style mechanical massage function. For intelligent driving, the Taishan X8 is equipped with Huawei’s 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR and three solid-state LiDAR units, significantly enhancing detection capabilities for small debris and distant obstacles. Powertrain options include both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery-electric (BEV) variants. The PHEV version pairs a 1.5T engine with all-wheel drive, delivering system outputs of either 300 kW or 445 kW, and features a 65 kWh battery offering 310 km of pure electric range. The BEV variant comes with a 120 kWh battery for extended driving range.
