Chery Exeed LX 5th Anniversary Edition Launches from ¥159,900 After Subsidies

EXEED’s five-year anniversary limited edition of the RX has officially launched, offering both gasoline and plug-in hybrid variants. The official manufacturer-suggested retail prices are RMB 209,900 and RMB 219,900 respectively, with limited-time subsidy flash-sale prices as low as RMB 159,900 and RMB 195,900. The new model features a distinctive silver-and-black two-tone exterior paint scheme. The gasoline version is based on the AWD Star Shine trim and adds a variable-damping suspension system. It is powered by a 2.0T engine producing 192 kW (261 hp) and 400 N·m of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. The plug-in hybrid variant employs a 1.5T engine combined with a triple-motor architecture (P2 + P3 + P4), delivering a combined output of 455 kW (619 hp) and peak torque of 920 N·m. It is mated to a 3-speed DHT transmission and EXEED’s “Snow Leopard” AWD system, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 5-second range.
