On April 1, XPeng Inc. released its delivery figures for March 2026 and the first quarter of the year: it delivered 27,415 vehicles in March, a significant 80% increase month-over-month, bringing its total deliveries for Q1 to 62,682 units. On the same day, the company announced the official launch of its Latin America market expansion plan, having formally entered the Mexican market on March 25 and unveiled a three-year strategy for the region. According to the plan, XPeng will introduce both battery-electric and extended-range electric vehicle models in Latin America by 2027, aiming to become the market leader in the region by 2028.
