At the recently opened Beijing Auto Show, the smart brand unveiled its latest vehicle lineup, headlined by the global debut of the smart #6 EHD Super Hybrid. The new model features a closed-off front fascia, blacked-out headlights, flush door handles, and a LiDAR sensor. It measures 4,906 mm in length, 1,922 mm in width, and 1,508 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,926 mm. Its rear end is accentuated by blacked-out贯穿式 tail lamps that enhance its sporty character. Powering the vehicle is an EHD Super Hybrid system combining a dedicated 1.5T hybrid engine (delivering a maximum output of 120 kW) and an electric drive motor, enabling an estimated combined range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. Also on display was the smart #2 Prototype Concept, designed by Mercedes-Benz’s design team. Drawing inspiration from the original fortwo’s iconic four-wheel, four-corner layout and rear-wheel-drive configuration, it is positioned as a pure-electric two-seater urban car. A two-door hardtop version will launch first, with a convertible variant potentially following in the future.
