In its recent official "Q&A with Netizens (Episode 226)," Xiaomi Auto provided a detailed explanation of the SU7's next-generation CDC (Continuous Damping Control) adaptive shock absorber technology. The system can adjust damping firmness in real time—continuously and infinitely—within milliseconds to precisely adapt to road conditions and driving dynamics. It suppresses body pitch during acceleration or braking and reduces roll during cornering, enhancing overall stability. Paired with dual-chamber air springs, the suspension offers four-level height adjustment ranging from +30mm to -20mm, which can be set manually or automatically adjusted based on vehicle speed and driving mode. In Sport+ mode, the vehicle automatically lowers its ride height for improved handling; in Master mode, it drops to the lowest setting to unleash maximum performance. Meanwhile, Super Energy-Saving and Motion Sickness Relief modes lower the suspension to reduce aerodynamic drag and enhance ride smoothness. Xiaomi states that the new system achieves an ideal balance—"harmonizing firmness and suppleness"—between dynamic handling and ride comfort.
