Volkswagen Group China is driving deeper sales collaboration among its brands. According to the latest reports, new models under the ID.与众 series featuring a golden emblem—including the 与众07, 08, and 09—will be showcased and sold in select FAW-Volkswagen dealerships through a “store-within-a-store” format. FAW-Volkswagen dealers will participate in the entire pre-sales and after-sales process, and both parties are currently negotiating details such as service standards. This marks Volkswagen Group China’s first integration of resources at the sales level; previous collaboration had been limited to the R&D stage. The ID.与众 brand is led by Volkswagen Anhui and developed at the Hefei ICV Center. Its first model, the ID.UNYX, was launched in July 2024, followed by subsequent models like the 与众06, 07, and 08, which feature highlights including intelligent driving capabilities, 800V fast charging, and extended range—accelerating the implementation of Volkswagen’s “In China, for China” strategy.
