Avita Unveils New 12 Launch and 06T Pre-sale on April 8, First to Feature Huawei’s 896-Line LiDAR

Avatr Technology announced it will hold a new product launch event on April 8 to officially unveil the new Avatr 12 and open pre-orders for the Avatr 06T. Both models will be among the first vehicles equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun 896-line LiDAR—the highest line count currently available in mass-produced vehicles worldwide. Pre-sales for the new Avatr 12 began on March 20, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 299,900 to RMB 439,900, positioning it as the top choice among luxury sedans priced under RMB 500,000. The Avatr 06T is scheduled to launch around May Day (early May). It measures 4,940 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,475 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,940 mm. All variants come standard with distributed dual-motor all-wheel-drive technology and CATL’s dual-power dedicated battery pack. The all-electric AWD tri-motor version delivers peak outputs of 210 kW, 251 kW, and 251 kW, while the rear-wheel-drive dual-motor variant offers 251 kW and 251 kW. Additionally, Avatr reported sales of 5,143 units in March.
