During the live stream event "Lei Jun Takes Apart the New SU7" on the evening of April 2, Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi Group, announced that the new Xiaomi SU7 had already surpassed 40,000 firm orders. This figure underscores the market's sustained strong interest in Xiaomi's first mass-produced vehicle. According to previous reports by IT Home, Xiaomi Auto officially disclosed its latest delivery progress on April 1: as of the end of March 2026, cumulative deliveries of the Xiaomi SU7 had exceeded 7,000 units since deliveries officially commenced on March 23. Additionally, Xiaomi Auto revealed that deliveries for March 2026 alone surpassed 20,000 units. Furthermore, during a special New Year live stream in January this year, Lei Jun publicly stated that Xiaomi Auto aims to deliver 550,000 vehicles throughout 2026. With production ramping up and delivery pace accelerating, Xiaomi is fully committed to achieving this target.
