On April 3, 2025, GAC Honda rolled out an OTA update to version 4.2.2 of its Honda CONNECT intelligent connectivity system for the e:NP7 (sold as the P7 in China), introducing multiple new features. This upgrade integrates a large AI model, enabling capabilities such as trip planning, vehicle-related Q&A, and casual conversation. A new voice cloning feature allows users to record voices of family or friends via the mobile app for use in voice announcements. The audio experience has also been enhanced, including ASC-simulated sporty engine sounds and dual-ear headrest navigation prompts—ensuring only the driver clearly receives directional guidance. In terms of the infotainment interface, the Bose audio menu and icons have been refined. The fragrance system now supports real-time viewing of scent type and remaining concentration levels via the mobile app, along with adjustable intensity settings. A new scheduled charging function enables users to set preferred charging time windows directly in the app. Additionally, the voice assistant can proactively greet users during special holidays. The GAC Honda P7 is a fully electric SUV that began initial customer deliveries in May 2025, offered in three variants starting at RMB 199,900. It measures 4,750 mm long, 1,930 mm wide, and 1,625 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. The vehicle features the YunChi intelligent cockpit and a panoramic sunroof with five-layer laminated glass offering five levels of adjustable tinting, spanning 1.85 square meters. Inside, it boasts a 12.8-inch and a 10.25-inch waterfall-style anti-glare touchscreen, a 9.9-inch fully virtual TFT digital instrument cluster, and an AR-HUD, all supporting Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and Baidu CarLife. Powertrain options include both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. In the AWD variant, the front motor delivers a maximum output of 150 kW and peak torque of 350 N·m, while the rear motor offers 200 kW and 420 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.6 seconds. Under the CLTC cycle, the single-motor version achieves a range of 650 km, while the dual-motor version offers 620 km.
