GAC Aion’s all-new model, the N60, will open for pre-orders on April 16 at the brand’s relaunch event. Positioned as an intelligent and stylish urban SUV, the N60 targets the sub-¥150,000 pure-electric SUV market. Blind reservations began on March 25, with customers paying a ¥99 deposit to secure vehicle purchase benefits valued at ¥5,088. The Aion N60 comes standard across all trims with a fused perception system combining 4D millimeter-wave radar and LiDAR, powered by L4-level autonomous driving algorithms developed by WeRide. It supports intelligent driving in multiple scenarios—including urban and highway environments—as well as full-scenario smart parking and remote parking functions. In terms of powertrain and safety, the N60 is equipped with Aion’s “Battery Armor” 2.0 battery pack, which has passed extreme tests such as gunfire and nail penetration and boasts a proven track record of zero spontaneous combustion incidents over 50 billion kilometers driven. The vehicle offers a maximum CLTC range of 610 km and features the world’s first amorphous alloy silicon-carbide electric drive system, achieving a remarkably low energy consumption of just 11.7 kWh per 100 km. Measuring 4,615 mm long, 1,860 mm (or 1,883 mm) wide, and 1,673 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm, the N60 delivers high interior space utilization. Priced under ¥150,000, it will compete directly with models like the BYD Song PLUS EV and Geely Galaxy E5. Official pricing and detailed specifications will be revealed at the start of pre-sales.
