Dongfeng Motor Corporation released its sales figures for March 2024 and the first quarter of the year on April 3. In the first quarter of 2024, the company reported cumulative sales of 528,000 vehicles, an increase of 12.3% year-over-year. Of this total, new energy vehicle (NEV) sales reached 210,000 units, up 52.3% year-over-year, while overseas sales totaled 96,000 units, surging 75.6% year-over-year. In March alone, Dongfeng Motor’s estimated market share reached 8.23%, marking a recent high. By the end of 2025, Dongfeng Motor will have established a fully integrated NEV industrial chain, offering 45 NEV passenger and commercial vehicle models currently on the market. The company aims to surpass one million NEV sales annually by 2025. Additionally, cumulative sales of the M-Hero M817 model have already reached 10,000 units.
