Great Wall Motor has announced it will launch a new flagship boxy SUV based on its all-new "Guiyuan" platform—the second model to be built on this platform following the WEY V9X. On April 6, Wei Jianjun, Chairman of Great Wall Motor, shared a video on social media revealing that the new vehicle features a large footprint and rugged design with sharp body lines and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. It is expected to be positioned in the RMB 300,000 price segment and will officially debut and go on sale later this year. Wei also noted internal disagreements over the vehicle’s naming: “H10” leans toward tradition, while “HX” symbolizes boundless imagination. He invited public suggestions for the final name. The official unveiling is scheduled for April 7. Additionally, Great Wall Motor reported full-year 2025 revenue of RMB 222.824 billion, up 10.20% year-over-year; net profit stood at RMB 9.865 billion, down 22.07% year-over-year. Total annual sales reached 1.3238 million units, an increase of 7.23% year-over-year, including record-breaking overseas sales of 506,800 units (up 11.60% YoY). Global sales of new energy vehicles totaled 406,000 units, rising 26.00% year-over-year.
