On April 6, SAIC Volkswagen launched a new entry-level variant of the Tiguan L Pro—the "300TSI Zhiyue Edition"—with a starting price of RMB 213,800. The vehicle retains the current model’s exterior design and is available in five body colors. It features LED headlights, “Eagle Wing”-style full-width daytime running lights, an illuminated logo, and conventional door handles. The interior is offered exclusively in Deep Black and equipped with a 12.9-inch central touchscreen. Compared to the ZhiXing trim, it omits the Qualcomm 8155 chip, active safety warning system, Baidu CarLife, 30-color ambient lighting, power-folding side mirrors, and auto-dimming rearview mirror. The vehicle measures 4,735 mm in length, 1,859 mm in width, and 1,682 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,791 mm. Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 160 horsepower and 250 N·m of peak torque, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
