The new Aito M9 is currently undergoing road testing. The updated model retains the overall design of the current version but features several refined details: the front fascia now sports a full-width chrome grille with a mesh-patterned upper grille and additional chrome accents; the roof is equipped with Huawei’s 896-line LiDAR and starlight door handles identical to those on the Luxeed S800; a new camera has been added to the third-row side windows, and chrome trim elements have been incorporated into the taillights and rear bumper. The vehicle’s dimensions have increased to 5,285 mm in length, 2,026 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm. In terms of powertrain, the range-extended version is powered by a 1.5T engine (118 kW) paired with dual motors—one at the front (220 kW) and one at the rear (277 kW). It offers two battery pack options with capacities of 60 kWh and 75 kWh, delivering a maximum WLTC all-electric range of up to 335 km and supporting 800V ultra-fast charging. The all-electric variant also uses the same dual-motor setup (220 kW front, 277 kW rear) and is expected to be equipped with a 100 kWh ternary lithium battery pack.
