Haval has recently released official images of its new SUV, built on Great Wall Motor's premium GuoYuan platform and positioned as the brand's flagship model, with an expected price of around RMB 300,000. The vehicle features a boxy design with straight, sharp body lines, a high ride height, and short front and rear overhangs—proportions typical of rugged off-roaders. The front fascia integrates rectangular headlights and a semi-enclosed grille, blending new-energy tech aesthetics with a tough, utilitarian style. Mounted on the roof are a LiDAR module and roof rails, highlighting advanced intelligent driving capabilities while enhancing practicality for outdoor adventures. The side profile retains conventional mechanical door handles and side steps, complemented by multi-spoke alloy wheels. Although exact dimensions haven't been officially disclosed, estimates based on the official images and the vehicle’s positioning suggest an overall length exceeding 5 meters and a wheelbase of approximately 3 meters, offering either five- or six-seat configurations. At the rear, rectangular taillights echo the front lighting signature, while an externally mounted spare tire carrier and a side-hinged tailgate further reinforce its rugged off-road character. Powering the SUV is expected to be Haval’s Hi4 plug-in hybrid system. The suspension setup comprises double-wishbone architecture at the front and multi-link at the rear, with select variants potentially featuring air suspension to enhance ride comfort—aiming to deliver a compelling blend of bold, rugged styling and family-friendly practicality.
