The uncamouflaged prototype of the 2026 Aito M9 has begun road testing, and several videos showing its intelligent driving capabilities have recently been released. The front fascia features an interstellar-style full-width blue daytime running light, giving the vehicle a more rugged appearance overall. The redesigned front end adds a full-width chrome accent strip, replaces the grille with a mesh pattern, and incorporates more visually striking chrome detailing. At the rear, the bumper造型 has been revised, and the silver trim surrounding the taillights from the previous model has been removed, resulting in a more refined and imposing look. The vehicle is equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun 896-line LiDAR, and an additional interior-facing LiDAR is expected to be mounted below the main unit. The door handles feature a new design, likely matching the “Jiutian Xingchen” (Nine Heavens and Stars) style seen on the Luxeed S800, and support a gesture-based hands-free door-opening function. Additionally, the new model comes with privacy glass on both the front and rear windows.
