In February 2026, Chen Wei, former Chief AI Scientist and Head of Foundation Models at Li Auto, and Zhang Xiao, former Head of Li Auto's Second Product Line, co-founded Xieyue Intelligence, an embodied intelligence company. Chen Wei serves as Chairman and CTO, while Zhang Xiao is CEO. The company’s seed round was jointly invested in by Li Auto and Yuanjing Capital, and the business registration changes are expected to be finalized soon.
