Cadillac has confirmed that production of the CT4 will end in June 2025, and it plans to stop accepting new orders for all trims of the model—including the base version and the high-performance CT4-V Blackwing—starting the week of April 20. The CT4 is currently Cadillac’s only entry-level sedan priced below $40,000, powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The CT4-V Blackwing, meanwhile, features a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine delivering 427 horsepower and is available with an optional six-speed manual transmission. Cadillac will also discontinue the current-generation CT5 but has confirmed that a next-generation CT5 equipped with a gasoline engine will be introduced; the order cutoff date for the outgoing model has not yet been announced. In 2025, CT4 sales totaled 5,616 units, down 9.4% year-over-year and significantly lower than the CT5’s 16,561 units. However, CT4 sales rose 27.4% year-over-year in the first three months of 2025, reaching 1,547 units, while CT5 sales declined 13.3% during the same period.
