Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated on X that the upcoming FSD V15 will significantly surpass human driving capabilities in terms of safety—even in completely unsupervised and complex scenarios. Previously, in August 2025, he predicted that FSD V14 would outperform human drivers, and that V15 could achieve a level of safety ten times greater than that of human driving. Tesla has recently begun rolling out the supervised version of FSD v14.3 in the United States. Musk described this version as "the last major piece of the autonomous driving puzzle." According to its official release notes, v14.3 features a completely rewritten AI compiler and runtime environment built from the ground up using MLIR technology, resulting in a 20% improvement in vehicle response speed.
