On April 8, Dongfeng Nissan officially launched the NX8, offering both all-electric and range-extended variants across seven trim levels. The official manufacturer-suggested retail price ranges from RMB 159,900 to RMB 184,900, with a limited-time promotional price of RMB 149,900 to RMB 199,900. Built on Nissan’s Tianyan Architecture 2.0, the NX8 features an 800V high-voltage platform and CATL’s 5C ultra-fast charging technology. Deliveries of the all-electric version have already begun, while the range-extended model is scheduled for delivery in mid-to-late May. The NX8 adopts Nissan’s V-motion family design language and is available in six exterior colors. It features a 2.4-meter-wide贯穿式 (full-width) “Star Ring” light bar and a “Quantum Light Curtain” rear light assembly composed of 2,064 OLED units. With dimensions of 4,870 mm (length) × 1,920 mm (width) × 1,680 mm (height) and a wheelbase of 2,917 mm, the vehicle offers optional 19-inch or 20-inch wheels. Inside, the cabin features an enveloping layout with a two-spoke steering wheel, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual 15.6-inch central touchscreens, and a 63-inch AR-HUD head-up display system. It runs NISSAN OS 2.0, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, and includes four-zone intelligent voice control. For comfort, the front passenger seat is equipped with an AI-powered “Zero Gravity Cloud Blanket” seat featuring 25 massage and support airbags. Both front and rear seats offer heating, ventilation, massage, and power adjustment functions. The rear seatback reclines up to 133 degrees and supports multiple scenario-based modes. Additionally, the NX8 includes a pet-friendly “Pet Care Mode,” and the rear aisle width measures 450 mm. In terms of intelligent driving, the NX8 is equipped with 29 high-perception sensors, including LiDAR, and offers 21 active safety features. It features an advanced driver-assistance system based on Momenta’s reinforcement learning large model, supporting both highway and urban Navigation on Autopilot (NOA), as well as one-touch automated parking. Powertrain-wise, the all-electric variant delivers a CLTC-rated range of 650 km and supports 800V 5C ultra-fast charging—adding 300 km of range in just six minutes. The range-extended version offers a CLTC pure-electric range of 310 km, a combined range of 1,450 km, and a fuel consumption of 4.51 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. At launch, Dongfeng Nissan is offering eight purchase incentives, including a Super Trade-in Bonus, Limited-Time Reservation Gift, and Free Upgrade Package.
