The high-performance Xiaomi YU7 GT SUV was recently spotted undergoing testing at Germany's Nürburgring circuit. Photos of the test vehicle reveal an all-black body with red accents and a "GT" badge on the rear. The vehicle measures 5,015 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,597 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Its curb weight is 2,460 kg, gross vehicle weight is 2,910 kg, and it offers seating for five passengers. Top speed is rated at either 300 km/h or 270 km/h, depending on configuration. Powering the YU7 GT are dual motors—one on each axle—with outputs of 288 kW (front) and 450 kW (rear), supplied jointly by Inovance Auto Powertrain Co., Ltd. (Suzhou) and Xiaomi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. The vehicle uses ternary lithium-ion battery cells produced by Jiangsu Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL Jiangsu), assembled into complete battery packs by Zhongzhou Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. The top-tier variant is estimated to deliver a combined output of 1,526 horsepower. The chassis features air suspension, an active driving stability system, rear-axle torque vectoring, and an advanced traction control system. Braking is handled by Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, complemented by regenerative braking from the electric motors. Compared to the standard version, the YU7 GT boasts wider wheel arches and a more aggressive stance, riding on 21-inch wheels shod with tires sized 265/40R21 (front) and 295/35R21 (rear). Track widths measure 1,715 mm (front) and 1,721 mm (rear), with approach and departure angles of 14 degrees and 18 degrees, respectively. Aerodynamic enhancements include an enlarged front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, and a roof-mounted rear wing.
