CPCA Forecasts Positive Growth for Auto Market in Second Half

Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the Passenger Car Association, stated that the auto market is expected to gradually and slowly improve in the second quarter and stabilize in the third quarter, with overall vehicle sales projected to bottom out and achieve positive growth in the second half of the year. He noted that consumer purchasing power and enthusiasm currently remain volatile, placing significant pressure on the automotive market. To ensure stable growth, he emphasized the need for long-term supportive policies, deeper exploration of domestic consumption potential, and a focused effort on expanding vehicle accessibility to unleash effective consumer demand.
