Garrett Launches Oil-Free Centrifugal Compressors for Data Centers, Industrial, and Electric Commercial Vehicle Cooling

Garrett has launched a range of oil-free centrifugal compressors with cooling capacities spanning 7 to 500 refrigeration tons (25–1,750 kWc), delivering superior performance compared to conventional designs. Among them is a newly introduced high-capacity 1,250 kWc compressor specifically developed for high-performance data centers and industrial refrigeration systems. Additionally, the company showcased oil-free cooling compressors tailored for electric trucks and buses, which are more compact and lighter than traditional solutions while offering excellent thermal management capabilities. These compressors support ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants, making them suitable for a wide range of applications and enabling significant energy savings. Garrett is actively seeking collaboration with relevant manufacturers and partners.
