The Denza Z9 all-electric sedan has appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 406th batch of the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products." The vehicle measures 5,090 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,025 mm. It offers three curb weight options: 2,397 kg, 2,438 kg, and 2,588 kg. Top speed is available in two variants: 250 km/h and 270 km/h. Tire sizes include 245/45R20 and 275/40R20. In terms of powertrain, the single-motor variant is equipped with a TZ226QYD motor produced by BYD Auto (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd., delivering a peak power of 370 kW and a rated power of 185 kW. Higher-trim models feature a tri-motor layout (one front, two rear), with motor models TZ226QYA, TZ226XYB, and TZ226XYB, producing 270 kW, 310 kW, and 310 kW respectively. The vehicle is powered by BYD’s lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The battery cells are manufactured by Hefei BYD Industrial Co., Ltd., and the battery packs are supplied by Shanwei FinDream Battery Co., Ltd. Standard equipment across all trims includes a panoramic glass roof, while optional features include an electric rear spoiler, various exterior mirror designs, door handles, wheel rims, and brake calipers in different colors.
