Leapmotor recently released official interior images of the Lafa5 Ultra and announced that the vehicle will launch in the second quarter of this year. As the performance variant of the Lafa5, the new model features upgrades in exterior design, interior appointments, powertrain, and intelligent configurations. Inside, the cabin incorporates extensive matte gunmetal-gray chrome accents and large areas of soft-touch materials. The headliner is wrapped in synthetic suede microfiber, while the seat belts feature body-color printing with an embossed “Ultra” logo. Aluminum door sill plates further enhance the sporty ambiance. The seats are Ultra-exclusive sport seats designed with ergonomics in mind, offering front-seat ventilation, heating, and an industry-first 8-point massage function with six massage modes. Exterior-wise, the Lafa5 Ultra comes equipped with a unique aerodynamic kit, including a front splitter, side skirts with integrated air blades, a rear spoiler, and a rear diffuser—designed to improve both visual appeal and high-speed stability. Powertrain details have not yet been disclosed. Based on the current Lafa5 lineup, it offers two motor outputs—132 kW and 160 kW—with corresponding CLTC-rated ranges of 515 km and 605 km, respectively.
