Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with China's State Administration for Market Regulation. Starting April 21, 2026, the company will recall 953 units of certain eleventh-generation Sonata vehicles produced between September 1, 2025, and October 13, 2025. The affected vehicles are equipped with a power management integrated circuit in the instrument cluster that may malfunction, potentially causing the instrument display to lag or resulting in a green screen appearing on the rear-side interface of the instrument display when the turn signal is activated. This poses a safety hazard. Beijing Hyundai will provide a free over-the-air (OTA) software update for the affected vehicles. For vehicles unable to receive the OTA update, authorized dealers will contact owners to carry out the necessary recall remedies and eliminate the safety risk.
