Changan Qiyuan Launches New A06 and Q05 Models Starting at ¥89,900

Changan’s Qiyuan A06 and the all-new Q05 have officially launched as updated 2024 models, featuring minor exterior revisions and starting at RMB 89,900. The A06 is offered in four variants: - 506 Pro+ (RMB 89,900) - 506 Max+ (RMB 95,900) - 510 Pro+ (RMB 109,900) - 630 Pro+ (RMB 119,900) The A06 retains its existing design language, featuring a curved full-width light bar at the front that embodies the "Fuguang" aesthetic philosophy. It integrates 236 LED light sources and supports customizable lighting animations and dynamic turn signals. The vehicle measures 4,885 mm long, 1,916 mm wide, and 1,496 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,922 mm. It comes equipped with frameless side mirrors and frameless doors. Inside, the cabin adopts an enveloping layout, housing a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen. Additional features include a liftback tailgate, power-operated rear hatch, and 18-inch low-drag wheels. The infotainment system is powered by the automotive-grade MTK 8676 chip built on a 4nm process. Under the hood, the A06 is built on an 800V high-voltage SiC (silicon carbide) platform and offers two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options: 51.48 kWh and 63.18 kWh, delivering CLTC-rated ranges of 510 km and 630 km, respectively. The rear-mounted electric motor delivers peak outputs of 120 kW or 210 kW depending on the variant. A range-extended version is also available, powered by Changan’s Blue Whale HE15 engine, offering a pure-electric CLTC range of 240 km. The Qiyuan Q05 adopts the upgraded “Qiyuan Digital Intelligent Wing 2.0” design language, measuring 4,435 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase. It features flush-fitting hidden door handles, a full-width taillight, and a trunk space expandable to 1,380 liters. A panoramic sunroof with a standard power sunshade has been newly added. The driver’s seat offers 10-way power adjustment with lumbar support. Additional interior highlights include a 1.8 m² panoramic glass roof, a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display, and a 10.17-inch full LCD instrument cluster. For intelligent driving, the Q05 is equipped with one LiDAR unit, three millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic sensors, eleven high-definition cameras, and Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6M chip, delivering 128 TOPS of computing power. All variants come standard with CATL’s high-energy-density battery cells, offering CLTC ranges of either 405 km or 506 km, support for 3C fast charging, and the upgraded “Golden Bell Shield” Battery Safety System 2.0.
