Great Wall Motor's premium brand WEY has officially released the official images of the V9 X short-wheelbase variant, which will open for pre-orders on April 16. The new model features a wheelbase of 3,050 mm and an overall length of 5,205 mm—84 mm shorter than the current model—while maintaining identical width and height dimensions and featuring a wheelbase reduced by 100 mm. Exterior design continues the brand’s "Oriental Classic Architectural Aesthetics" language, highlighted by an illuminated floating logo at the front fascia, conventional door handles, and a full-width LED taillight strip at the rear. The taillights incorporate elliptical elements on both sides, integrating intelligent driving status indicator lights. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by WEY’s “Super Hi4” hybrid-electric architecture, combining a 2.0T engine, a dedicated 4-speed hybrid transmission, an 800V high-voltage platform, and 6C ultra-fast charging technology. With a full charge, the V9 X achieves a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 4-second range.
