On April 10, Xiaomi Auto released its 233rd "Answers to Community Questions," revealing the OTA rollout schedule for multiple new features of the next-generation SU7. Features including pet mode, customizable sound effects, fuzzy semantic navigation, and advanced driver-assistance functions will be introduced in the upcoming OTA update, with phased rollouts beginning in May across different vehicle models. Xiaomi Auto emphasized that its XLA architecture and world model technology are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary. The company’s Xiaomi XLA architecture has seamlessly integrated “reinforcement learning + world model” technology. In this system, the world model acts as a high-fidelity simulator capable of generating vast numbers of complex driving scenarios. Combined with reinforcement learning, it enables strategy optimization and trial-and-error training, forming a closed-loop evolutionary mechanism that elevates the system’s performance ceiling. The company also reminded users that driver-assistance systems are not equivalent to autonomous driving, and drivers must remain attentive at all times while operating the vehicle. Regarding wheel replacements, Xiaomi Auto stressed that wheels must match the original factory specifications exactly. It strongly recommends using OEM-configured products, which have undergone comprehensive development and validation to ensure safety. After replacement, users must navigate via the central display to “Settings > Service > Wheel Settings” to update the configuration. The system will then automatically recalibrate the odometer, speedometer, and driver-assistance functions, and simultaneously refresh the vehicle model displayed on the home screen. This feature is only available after logging into the owner’s account. During the update process, the vehicle must not be used—it should be parked in a safe location with sufficient battery charge. If any pending system updates exist, they should be completed first to avoid interference with new update tasks. Arbitrarily changing settings without actually replacing the wheels may result in inaccurate speedometer and energy consumption readings, potentially compromising driver-assistance calibration and overall safety. For tire replacements, tires must precisely match the original factory specifications, including speed rating and load index. Again, OEM-configured tires are recommended to guarantee proper electronic control calibration and safety validation. Additionally, the next-generation SU7’s battery pack incorporates a multi-layer physical protection structure to withstand side impacts: two 2,000 MPa floor cross beams and two 1,500 MPa seat cross beams provide lateral support at the top; extruded aluminum side frames on the sides offer buffering space; and an ultra-wide aluminum sill beam featuring a nine-cell multi-chamber structure on the outermost layer enhances impact resistance and reduces the risk of cell damage.
