New Changan Qiyuan Q05 Launches from ¥89,900, Offers Two Range Options and Optional LiDAR

The new Changan Qiyuan Q05 has officially launched, offering two variants with a limited-time price range of RMB 89,900 to RMB 95,900. As an annual facelift model, the vehicle continues to feature Changan Qiyuan’s Shuzhi Feiyi 2.0 design language, sporting a closed-off front fascia, full-width LED daytime running lights, split-type headlights, and an optional roof-mounted LiDAR. Exterior color options include Pine Green, Flowing Gold Purple, Moonlight Silver, Cloud Shadow Gray, and Brocade White. The vehicle measures 4,435 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width, and either 1,600 mm or 1,595 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. It features semi-flush door handles and low-drag alloy wheels, while the rear end is highlighted by a full-width taillight assembly and a rear spoiler. Inside, the cabin adopts a wrap-around layout, standard with a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, a 10.17-inch full LCD instrument cluster, and an 8-speaker audio system. Headroom measures 1,008 mm in the front and 990 mm in the rear, and the trunk offers up to 1,380 liters of cargo space when expanded. The higher-end 506 Pro+ variant features a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with added lumbar support, plus massage, heating, and ventilation functions. The top-tier 506 Max+ adds a panoramic sunroof spanning 1.8 square meters with an electric sunshade. For intelligent driving assistance, the LiDAR-equipped version integrates one LiDAR unit, three millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic sensors, eleven high-definition cameras, and Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6M chip delivering 128 TOPS of computing power. Powering the Q05 is a front-mounted electric motor producing a maximum output of 120 kW. All variants come standard with CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 405 km and 506 km respectively. The vehicle supports 3C fast charging, capable of adding 120 km of range in just 15 minutes.
