In March 2026, Deepal Auto achieved an all-industry market share of 1.2%, marking a record high since the brand's inception, while its share in the new energy vehicle (NEV) market rebounded above 2%. The company reported global sales of 31,742 units that month, up 30% year-over-year and 87.8% month-over-month. The Deepal S05, S07, and L06 models were the primary drivers of this strong performance. The Deepal S05 sold 17,586 units globally in March, bringing its cumulative sales since launch to over 190,000 units, with average monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units. The model is available in both battery electric (BEV) and extended-range electric (EREV) variants. The EREV version delivers a fuel consumption of 4.35 L/100 km under low-battery conditions, with a CLTC pure-electric range of 200 km and a combined range of 1,234 km. The BEV variant features CATL’s “Golden Bell Shield” battery, offering a CLTC range of 510 km, 3C fast charging capability, and 6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) power output. Both variants deliver a peak torque of 320 N·m. The S05 is now available in 70 countries and regions worldwide. In March, it became China’s best-selling NEV compact SUV, with its domestic market share rising 69% month-over-month to 0.9%. Internationally, the S05 has topped Spain’s compact BEV SUV registration rankings for two consecutive months and launched its right-hand-drive version in the UK in March. As of March, the Deepal S07 had surpassed 300,000 units in cumulative global sales. Its global sales surged 157% month-over-month in March, and its domestic market share increased by 12% month-over-month, ranking it sixth among NEV midsize SUVs that month. The Huawei Qiankun Laser Edition of the S07 made its debut on April 7 and is set for official launch soon. The Deepal L06 ranked fourth in China’s midsize BEV sedan segment in March, with its market share growing 28% month-over-month and cumulative deliveries exceeding 17,000 units. All L06 trims come standard with LiDAR and feature end-to-end intelligent driving assistance algorithms. The total mileage driven with intelligent driving assistance has surpassed 30 million kilometers, accounting for 51.8% of the model’s total vehicle mileage. Deepal Auto CEO Jiang Hairong stated that multiple new products will be unveiled in April.
